Lent Course
Throughout Scripture, angels appear at turning points — in moments of fear, exhaustion, obedience, and hope — revealing a God who draws near rather than remaining distant. This five-week Lenten study invites us to reflect on those encounters and to notice how God still interrupts, sustains, strengthens, and sends us today.

This introduction explores the biblical role of angels as messengers who appear at turning points, revealing God’s nearness in moments of fear, change, and uncertainty. It frames Lent as a season of attentiveness, inviting participants to reflect on how God continues to interrupt, sustain, and send us today.
