About

I am an Episcopal priest serving in parish ministry, shaped by Anglican liturgy, collaborative leadership, and a deep commitment to pastoral care. My ministry is grounded in careful listening, shared discernment, and an attentiveness to the ways God is already at work in people’s lives.

I was born in Bristol and have lived in several cities across England, including Cardiff, Cambridge, Portsmouth, Oxford, and Ipswich. Growing up within the Baptist tradition, faith was woven into the rhythms of daily life, forming a strong foundation in Scripture, prayer, and service. Over time, my spiritual home became the Anglican tradition, where the richness of liturgy, music, and the Church year deepened both my faith and my understanding of ministry.

My academic and ministerial formation has grounded me in thoughtful theology and the practical realities of parish leadership. I studied English Literature at Anglia Ruskin University before training for ordination at Cuddesdon Theological College in Oxford, during which I completed a degree in Theology through the University of Oxford. I later completed an MA in Theology, Ministry, and Mission at Durham University while serving as a curate in Ipswich. These years of formation shaped my theological depth, preaching voice, and pastoral instincts, as well as my commitment to collaborative and reflective leadership.

In 2022, I moved to the United States and accepted a call to serve in the Episcopal Church, where I now live and work in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am grateful for the ways parish ministry continues to stretch and sustain me, particularly through preaching, pastoral care, worship planning, and the shared work of building healthy parish life.

In ministry, I am especially drawn to liturgy and music as sources of formation and prayer. I value worship that is reverent, participatory, and attentive to beauty, and I have a particular affection for Taizé chant and Compline, with their gentle, contemplative rhythms. I am passionate about walking alongside people as they deepen their faith, grow in confidence, and discover the gifts they are called to offer.

Alongside my vocation, I am married to Lewis, and we are parents. I enjoy reading widely, writing poetry, cooking and sharing meals, photography, and spending time with friends and family. I also love music and singing, and although I play the piano less than I once did, it remains a meaningful part of my life. These ordinary joys continue to nourish my ministry and my sense of God’s presence in the everyday.
